Russell Brand faces seven charges, including three counts of rape and three charges of sexual assault.
The defense has aggressively questioned complainants about their alcohol consumption and the timing of their reports. Jurors heard Brand claims all sexual encounters were consensual, asserting some interactions with women have been 'reimagined' in recent years.
One woman described a 2009 incident with Brand. She stated Brand told her after the alleged rape: 'Clear up the mess you’ve made.' Another accuser came forward to police after seeing a 2023 Dispatches documentary about sexual misconduct allegations against Brand. She stated, 'I had buried it so deep for so long.'

A fourth complainant alleged sexual assault while working at Choice FM, with bystanders reportedly present. This woman told Southwark Crown Court that Brand appeared to find the incident funny after grabbing her breasts and forcefully kissing her.
She stated Brand pinned her against a wall in a radio station corridor, groped and kissed her. Others present did not intervene. The accuser said, 'There is a man who is mauling me in front of people.'
A female witness also testified in court about an alleged incident involving Brand in the mid-2000s. The woman stated that Brand's associates, Jack Bayles and Gareth Roy, indicated Brand would only continue a recording if she gave him a massage.
The alleged offenses occurred in various locations, including hotel rooms, a toilet cubicle, and his home. The accuser stated she had never met Brand before the alleged incident. She added, 'It felt very awkward. It didn’t matter who I was, and I just sort of wanted it to be over.'
The trial is ongoing.
