A food festival near Seattle's iconic Space Needle was marred by a shooting on Sunday, resulting in three fatalities and multiple injuries, including a two-year-old boy.
Two individuals died at the scene; a third person succumbed to their injuries later at the hospital. The victims were identified as a 19-year-old man, a 44-year-old man, and a 56-year-old woman.
Among those injured, a two-year-old boy received medical attention. Four other individuals were transported to hospital in stable condition, while a fifth declined medical transport.

Faith Adia Hunter recounted taking refuge in the Seattle Children's Museum with friends. She stated, "We were right next to him when it started so we took off running," adding, "So we took off running too into the building with the crowd."
Vendors abandoned their food stands and fled when the gunfire began, intensifying the widespread panic. Seattle and Washington state representatives swiftly condemned the shooting.
Authorities believe two suspects exchanged gunfire, a claim echoed by Tyrone Davis and Seattle Police. Investigators state it remains unknown whether those killed or injured were innocent bystanders.
