Man Charged Over Keaton Slater's Death After Extradition
Dolars Aleksanders, 23, faces dangerous driving charge following international cooperation.

A man has been extradited to Britain and charged in connection with the death of Keaton Slater.
Prosecutors established sufficient evidence, bringing the case to court, Ben Samples confirmed.
Samples detailed extensive collaboration: "CPS West Midlands has worked closely with West Midlands Police, Home Office, the Latvian authorities, Europol, the Joint International Crime Centre (JICC), CPS International and our Extradition Unit to bring Mr Aleksanders back to face proceedings in a UK court for an alleged crime that took place here."
West Midlands Police, the Crown Prosecution Service, and the National Crime Agency all participated in the extradition and charging process.
The CPS confirmed its decision: "[The CPS] has decided to charge Dolars Aleksanders with one count of causing death by dangerous driving following a police investigation into a fatal road traffic collision that led to the death of Keaton Slater."

Keaton Slater, 12, died two years ago after a BMW struck him in a hit-and-run.
West Midlands Police named Dolars Aleksanders as a person of interest shortly after the crash.
The incident occurred on Radford Road in Coventry. Keaton's family launched a petition that garnered tens of thousands of signatures.
Specially trained officers support Keaton's parents, keeping them updated on developments.
Aleksanders is due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Thursday.
