Actress Lucy Davis, 53, has been diagnosed with stage-four breast cancer.
Severe pain now occasionally necessitates wheelchair use for Davis; she struggles with standing or walking.
Davis stated, "As of now, I’m trying to live out whatever might be left of my life in as fun a way as I possibly can."

I always like to find the teachable moments in anything negative that happens. And cancer has not disappointed in that regard; there’s a lot I have learned from it, and I’m grateful for that.

Beyond 'The Office', Davis appeared in 'Wonder Woman', 'Shaun of the Dead', 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina', and 'The Villains of Valley View'.
She is the daughter of comedian Jasper Carrott and reportedly played Hayley Jordan on BBC Radio 4’s 'The Archers' for nearly 10 years.
Davis married actor Owain Yeoman in December 2006; their union ended in October 2011.
She reportedly remembers reading during their split that he was good-looking and she was not.
Despite her diagnosis, Davis claims she "doesn't know how long she has left" but is "at peace with whatever comes next."
She further claims she will "see my Gracie [her dog, who died in 2024] sooner than expected, and for me, leaving my physical body just means going home."

I’m still going to keep up all my work for animal rights. It’s so important to me. And I still would like to keep working. I’m perfectly able to do so, and acting is one of the biggest joys in my life.

Davis claims she remains perfectly able to continue working and extends well wishes to others on a similar journey.
Davis concluded her message, claiming cancer demands much physically and mentally, asserting everyone navigates it as they choose, and sending much love to all.
